If you haven’t downloaded Libby app yet, you can get instruction here on how to do so. Or, simply go to your app store, type in Libby, download the free app, open it after download, create an account and link your account to the Library using your Library card number.

Libby allows you to search the online catalog, download the books you want to read, create reading lists, track what books you’ve already read, save your progress, take notes as you read, look up uncertain words and so much more!

Libby gives you access to resources like:

Pronunciator is a fun and free way to learn any of 315 languages with personalized courses, movies, chat and more much like Babble, Rosetta Stone or Doulingo. Each has their own unique way to teaching a foreign language.

Learn online, either on your desktop or mobile phone, using the app. Link your Library card to your Pronunciator app to learn a foreign language for free.

Power Kids

  • BookFlix –Watch videos, read books, and play games.
  • CyberSmarts – Learn how to be a safe, responsible, and smart citizen online and in real life.
  • Kids InfoBits – Knowledge is power, and the act of learning is empowering. Kid InfoBits is friendly database where it’s safe to let them to click around. 
  • True Flix – Learn about people, places, nature, history, and science with videos and eBooks.

Power Teens POWER Teens provides online resources including full-text research e-resources, collections of photographs and documents, the statewide catalog of materials held in libraries throughout Pennsylvania, and Chat with a Librarian.

GALE Courses offers approximately 370 highly interactive, instructor led courses that you can take entirely online. As a library card holder in good standing, you are entitled to these courses at no cost. Courses run for six weeks and new sessions begin every month.
