Ways to Donate
Thank you for your interest in supporting your local libraries!
As you are probably aware, public libraries receive very little funding from outside sources. We depend heavily on user contributions to continue offering our invaluable services to our community and appreciate every cent you kindly give.
Click here to donate now! This link allows you to make a secure donation using a credit card and designation!
For general donations, make any check donations to “Greensburg Hempfield Area Library.”

- Outright gifts and charitable bequests by naming the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library as a beneficiary.
- Through retirement plans the library can be named as full or partial beneficiary.

Children’s Summer Reading Fund
Each summer we provide over a hundred programs and activities for children while they are enjoying their summer break from school. This is a chance for fun activities that promote reading and literacy. We ask for support at the beginning of the summer to help with programming costs of books and supplies.
If you’d like to give to this specific cause, please call Jamie at (724)837-5620, ext 14.
Our mission is to enrich our community by promoting literacy and fostering lifelong learning which the annual fund enables us to provide. This mail-in fundraiser supports activities such as children’s programming, adult book discussions, book, and e-book purchases and computer/Internet services. In the fall we will send you an envelope in the mail alerting you to the Annual Fund.
This is vital for your library to provide services to patrons of Greensburg, Southwest Greensburg, South Greensburg, Hempfield Township, Youngwood, New Stanton, Adamsburg, Hunker, Manor, and Salem Township.
To be added to the mailing list, please contact Jamie (724)-837-5620, ext 14.
